Cybersecurity-focused developer building tools around encryption, steganography, and secure systems. I like understanding systems by breaking them, analyzing them, and rebuilding them better.
I'm Shubham Mishra, a management and tech-oriented student with a deep interest in understanding how systems work — not just building them, but intentionally breaking them apart to reveal their inner workings.
My projects span cryptography (AES-256, RSA-2048, ChaCha20), steganography, embedded C++ systems (smart home, lock systems), and computer vision (facial recognition, intruder detection). I enjoy operating at the intersection of hardware and software.
Beyond the terminal, I've organized overnight hackathons and technical workshops with the Mozilla Firefox Club, and served as a stage anchor at Riviera Proshows — one of Asia's largest college cultural festivals.
A command-line password manager for secure local storage with military-grade encryption. Every password is encrypted with AES-256-GCM, protected by a bcrypt-hashed master password, and derived using PBKDF2-HMAC-SHA256.
A command-line text encryption tool supporting five industry-standard algorithms — with an interactive menu and direct CLI mode.
A Python steganography & secure messaging framework that hides AES-256-GCM encrypted messages inside ordinary PNG images and transports them covertly over Discord. Uses key-seeded random LSB embedding (SHA-256 pixel shuffling), scrypt key derivation, zlib compression, and a Discord bot with SQLite inbox — making messages visually and statistically undetectable without the TRUST_KEY.
Camera-based intruder detection and auto-lock system. Uses computer vision to identify unauthorized presence and automatically triggers a system lock — real-world physical security via software.
C++ embedded smart home system managing connected home devices with hardware-level control logic. Explores real-time design and hardware-software interfacing in resource-constrained environments.
Set up a personal home server for file storage and network experimentation. Repurposed a router into a functional file server with hands-on system configuration, networking and troubleshooting.
Whether you want to collaborate on a security project, discuss systems internals, or just say hello — my inbox is always open. I'll respond within 24 hours.
